We have an immediate opening for a Programmer/Analyst.
We are looking for a team oriented individual with an attention to detail
who has strong analytical and problem solving skills. This individual
should be capable of working with multiple projects simultaneously to meet
objectives/key deadlines and manage end-user expectations.
Responsibilities Include the following:
-Work in a team environment to solve varying and complex data problems.
-Process and understand large volumes of raw data/metrics
-Develop reports and dashboards for specific customer projects
-Design and implement data integration modules for Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) functions
-Participate in the overall development process via architecture guidance, design, and code reviews.
-Investigate new technologies and advances, especially in the areas of business intelligence
Requirements:
-2+ years of software development/database experience
-Database experience in Oracle or SQLServer with some use of MySQL and PostgreSQL
-Language experience in PL/sql or TransactSQL and working knowledge of PHP, VB, HTML, Javascript
-Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
Additional consideration will be given to those who have experience in the following areas:
-Defining and manipulating complex SQL including mathematical functions, grouping, joins, sub-select, etc.
-Loading, extraction and manipulating data from diverse RDBMS
-Knowledge of various ETL, data warehousing tools and concepts
-Experience in query tuning and concepts
-Experience with various web application development technologies
